I love to eat fruits, and influenced by me, Laurent also does. So every morning there is a happy moment for preparing between two and five fruits in his bag for his daily work. One day, I had an idea. Why not try to plant fruits at home? Let's go!
Let's start by…… blueberries!
This is the list of all you'll need : 1, a little blueberry shrub; 2 a terracotta pot of size d:30 h:25; 3, a packet of potting soil for plants and vegetables; 4 a packet of clay beads; 5, a pruning shears; 6 a watering can with a big nose ;-); 7, a sprayer - pshiiit pshiiit.
We are loyal customers of TRUFFAUT. You can find there very different plants depending on the seasons. They are welcoming, they give good advices for the maintenance of plants, it's a pleasant ballad.
Let's go! follow theses steps :
1 :Water the little shrub and leave it aside for a few minutes. (left picture)
2 : At the same time prepare the pot (picture in the middle) hide the hole at the bottom first so that the soil don't exit through it. since I havent founded little peaces of terracotta, I took some dead leaves from our vermicomposter (right picture)
3 : Put the clay beads in the pot to a height of 3 cm approximately (left picture)
Ah! I forgot a tool : the little garden shovel (right picture) of course you can also use a little peace of recycled plastic bottle for exemple.
4 : Put the soil at a height of about 5 cm (right picture)
5 : Move slightly the shrub and pull it out (left picture)
6 : Put the shrub in the center of the pot (right picture)
7 : Continue to add soil, press it slightly with your hand so that the soil is not too much aired (left picture)
8 : Add the soil until it reaches 3 cm bellow the border of the pot (right picture)
9 : Brighten the shrub. remove the leaves and the plugged that are not in good shape (left picture)
10 : Water copiously the shrub until the water exits by the bottom (right picture)
11 : Water also the outside of the pot (left picture)
12 : Pshiiit pshiiit on the leaves to refresh them. (right picture)
13 : Choose a place half shadowed, half sunny and place the pot confortably.
